Welcome and thank you for visiting my website.
I am a Registered Clinical and School Psychologist as well as a mindfulness meditation and yoga teacher/consultant, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am a member in good standing of the College of Psychologists of Ontario (Reg #6500), the Ontario Psychological Association, and Yoga Alliance.
This website is my endeavour to describe my services and draw together my passion, which is mindfulness and mindful living. I believe that mindfulness is a powerful modality that has the potential to heal communities and the planet, and to prevent trauma and oppression. I provide mindfulness-based therapy, facilitate mindfulness-based therapeutic groups for children, adolescents, and parents, as well as train educators and health professionals in mindfulness skills – in order to support balance, wellbeing, resiliency and healing. I also provide individual mindfulness coaching (in person or online) and customized mindfulness/mental health training and consultation services to organizations, particularly in mental health, health care and education.
The only way out is through – mindfulness provides an effective, evidence-based, empowering and compassionate framework to navigate life’s difficulties and to promote healing from the inside out.
My favourite way to teach mindfulness is within nature as I wholeheartedly believe that this is the way to create sustainable positive changes in our life and to heal the planet. For the past several years, I have had the good fortune of collaborating with the Kortright Centre for Conservation in Toronto and the Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary (Victoria, BC) to design and deliver mindfulness in nature health and wellness programming.
My mission is to support the healing and empowerment of individuals, families and communities, while always working from a place of integrity and compassion.
Please take a look around my website and feel free to contact me with any questions that you might have. I look forward to connecting with you!
